*CALL to WORSHIP: Psalm 22: 3-5
Leader: O God, You are holy, dwelling in the praises of Israel.
People: Our ancestors trusted in You. They trusted and You
delivered them.
Leader: They cried out to You and were saved. In You they
trusted and were not put to shame.
People: We cry out to You, O Lord, in worship, and place our
lives in Your hand.
Leader: Let us worship God together!

*HYMN #638G “O Christ, the Healer, We Have Come”

*CORPORATE PRAYER of CONFESSION (unison)
Gracious God of abundant love, we know that You can discern the thoughts and intentions of our hearts. We also know that You understand what it means to be human. Forgive us, O Lord, for the times when we have grumbled and complained when things were difficult. For the times when we have been envious or greedy, wanting to be first, instead of generous and merciful, putting others before ourselves. For walking far away from You, instead of remaining near. Forgive us, we pray, and renew our hearts. Help us hold fast to You. And hear us now, in the stillness and quiet, as we speak to you, in honest confession…Amen.
