5 Best Squat Variations To Grow Your Booty (THESE WORK!)

What’s going on everyone! In today’s video, I'm back with another Female Friday video to help you grow your glutes! These 5 exercises are amazing squat variations to help you build your glutes bigger! Give them a shot below, and then let me know in the comments what your favorite was!

👇 5 Best Squat Variations To Grow Your Booty (THESE WORK!)

1️⃣ Sumo Squat Pause - this movement will help you engage your glutes much more as your feet will be wider, with toes pointed outward. The pause will help you really get a contraction in your glutes, and at the top make sure you don't forget to SQUEEZE!

2️⃣ Barbell Split Squats - for these, the bar will be between your legs and this will be much more sparing on your spine. Since the bar is not on your back, your spine is not being compressed during the movement. Be sure you also avoid slamming your knee down at the bottom, your knee does not need to touch the ground for this movement.

3️⃣ Hip Thrust Pulses - these are great because it increases the time under tension on the muscle which will help increase hypertrophy aka growing the booty more.

4️⃣ Glute Kickback 1 and a Half - for this movement you'll perform one full rep of the regular glute kickback, and on the way back down you're going to stop half way and kick back up. Once you've repeated this tempo, you have completed one full rep.

5️⃣ Kettlebell Swing - this is an amazing explosive movement to really work your glutes, but it must be done properly for the best results. You want to focus on the explosion in your legs, so forget about how high you can get the kettlebell - instead, think of someone being in front of you and you are trying to push them with your hips. The explosion from your glutes should kick the weight out, instead of worrying about performing a front raise.
