If you have been diagnosed with PCOS you probably have a lot of questions. How do I lose the weight I have gained? Why have I gained weight? How do I start living a normal life? Those are just a few of the questions you probably have.
If you are like me when I got diagnosed with PCOS, you are wondering how to lose the weight you gained because of the PCOS. Before I was diagnosed with PCOS, I tried and tried to lose weight. I could never get the scales to budge unless it was up. It didn’t matter what I did, I could not lose weight.
I finally went to the Dr. and was diagnosed with PCOS. From what I could understand, he told me that it was a metabolic disorder. Because of the metabolic disorder, your hormones are crazy and your body then becomes crazy. The PCOS causes most people to gain weight, acne, irregular periods, and of course the cysts on your ovaries.
I was prescribed a medicine called Metformin. Metformin is actually a diabetes medicine but works well for patients with PCOS. Metformin will not actually make you lose weight but it will prevent you from gaining any more weight. It doesn’t act like a diet pill where it will boost your metabolism and decrease your appetite. It will help diet and exercise actually work. It will let diet and exercise do what they are designed to do; make you lose weight.
If you are like me, then you are tired of being over weight, right now! You want something that will help speed up the diet and exercise process. I started taking a diet pill called Lipodrene with ephedra. Lipodrene with ephedra helped me lose the weight that PCOS would never let me lose. I actually lost the weight very quickly and it hasn’t come back after using Lipodrene. Lipodrene with ephedra may help a small amount without taking Metformin, I can not say since I only used the Lipodrene with the Metformin. However, Lipodrene with ephedra did help me get my life back and I have a lot more confidence in myself.
