WHY IT IS DIFFICULT TO LOSE THE FIRST 10 POUNDS WHEN IT COMES TO LOSING WEIGHT?

If you struggle to lose weight, you’ve figured out just how hard it is to lose first 10 pounds. The question is why it is so hard and is there anything we can do about it? If you are not ready to make some changes in your life style, losing weight will be hard. There’s no shortcut but we can make the process easier with a few simple changes.

BURNING CALORIES:

Most of the times, it gets really difficult to lose first 10 pounds as we don’t try to burn more calories than we eat. If we exercise everyday at least for 30 minutes than it will be easier to burn more calories.

TAKE A BALANCE DIET:

One main reason that we face problems while losing first 10 pounds is; we are not used to of taking a balance diet at this stage. We should make healthy decisions everyday like replacing soda with water and choosing salad over the burger.

DON’T GIVE UP:

If we don’t see results quickly, we give up. That’s another reason of why it is hard to lose the weight in starting. In order to get yourself on a healthy track, it is necessary that you don’t give up.

LACK OF MOTIVATION:

In starting, mostly we don’t have motivation and that’s why we feel lazy while doing workouts. Weight loss is a great goal but there must be something for motivation. Find reasons to be more healthy and energetic.

As we are not used to of doing exercise in starting that’s why most of the times, we are not able to maintain consistency in our workouts. We just need to set up a proper workout schedule that we can follow every day.

THE LIFESTYLE:

Usually, when we start losing weight, it seems really difficult to adopt a healthy lifestyle. In order to get your desired weight or body, we must change how to live. It doesn’t happen overnight but we should be open to new ways of doing things. There are few things that we need to change. Like, we should get up early to prepare healthy breakfast or to go for a walk, exercise on daily basis, set our limits for watching TV and to sit on Computer and avoid junk food.

BUSY SCHEDULES:

People use busy schedules as an excuse of not losing weight. If we are not ready to take responsibility for the schedule we have created then it will be really hard to lose weight.

THE SURROUNDINGS:

Our surroundings put a great effect on our weight loss schedule. In starting, we are used to of the things happening in our surroundings. Like temptations, pizza, donuts and vending machines. We should surround ourselves with an environment that encourages our healthy choices.

MENTAL HEALTH:

Sometimes, we are mentally disturbed and broken due to past hurts. And that’s why; it becomes really hard to lose weight by following new lifestyle and schedule. For most of the people, food is a comfort and it helps to deal with emotional problems. Because of this reason, we just can’t stop eating when we start losing weight. A counselor can help with this or we should learn or read about emotional eating.
Last but not least, remember that you are not a loser just because you can’t lose weight in starting. Just keep in mind that you are simply a person who is trying his or her best to make healthy decisions. And just don’t give up. You just need consistency, motivation and a positive thinking to achieve your desired goal.
