Reclaiming What Really Matters (2-21-16) – How Stressed Are You / Part 8

In our 2016 series titled “Reclaiming what really matters” we, as a community, will be fasting for a total of seven weeks in seven different categories that hinder our vision and love for God, that distract us from loving our neighbor and ourselves, and that ultimately, pull us away from the great commission of our Lord:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Mt. 28:18-20).”

Our hope is each week that we would find ourselves giving up those things that are excessive, distracting, possessive, convenient, burdensome, wasteful, and disengaging from seeking first the Kingdom of God, and instead press into the One who provides our every need in the richness and glory of Christ (Phil. 4:19).
