Nothing pushes people away faster than boredom and confusion. (*Sidenote: maybe that’s why I didn’t enjoy school) If we create the belief that living a healthy lifestyle is complicated and that you have to study books that make you feel like your back in high school chemistry class; it won’t work for most people.

One cup of kale has only 36 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 0 grams of fat. It is great for aiding in digestion and elimination with its great fiber content. It’s also filled with so many nutrients, vitamins, folate and magnesium, blah, blah!

A fully integrated fitness lifestyle doesn’t have to be complicated. You have to find simple, sustainable solutions that work for you. I recently picked up a copy of the book “The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth” by Jonny Bowden. It’s a great starting point for your shopping list.
